While the Trail Town Program focuses its work in a limited number of towns, dozens of trailside communities line the Great Allegheny Passage. Most are small towns that share a history steeped in railroading and industry and now are vital links along the Passage.

Communities along the way that cater to trail users (from east to west) are:

Garrett, PA
Perryopolis, PA
Boston, PA
McKeesport, PA

Visit www.GAPTrail.org for amenities offered in these and other communities along the Great Allegheny Passage.
